2022.01.17 22:03 Suffix-099 Tips for a rookie Ibuki SFV
I’ve had this game for awhile but haven’t really played it and have always like Ibuki as a character but I suck. I just joined a lobby where I proceeded to get my ass kicked, I probably landed like 7 hits total out of the two matches I played. It was even a beginners are welcome lobby! Does anyone have any tips for a legitimate beginner?

2022.01.17 22:03 searchamon67 How does Tony know of Thanos when Wong is explaining the infinity stones?
Around the time when Wong is explaining the Big Bang and the infinity stones, Tony asks Banner “what’s his name again.” It sounds like Thanos’ name sounds familiar to Tony.
In 2012, there was no reference of Tony’s name. And, he obviously hasn’t met the Guardians of the Galaxy yet.
Sounds like he knows something that hasn’t been revealed yet. Same goes for Thanos, how does he know Tony’s name later in the movie on Titan?
He says they’re both cursed with knowledge.
There’s gotta be something that’s going to be revealed in the next couple of phases, right? Maybe it has something to do with Kang and/or multiverse?
What do you guys think?

2022.01.17 22:03 FrostyTwo6249 Specialist called in for rear-ended situation
Event breakdown: - It was raining pretty hard on the highway.
- I had a good 5 car following distance from the car in front of me. - We're traveling at about 55mph
- The car in front suddenly breaks hard and I follow suit and do the same. - I feel my tires skid a bit (they are in good condition as well). - I quickly look into my left mirror and throw a quick look over my left shoulder and see that the nearest incoming car in the lane (hov lane) left to me is a good distance away (about 8 seconds distance it's pretty far) so I merge into that lane to avoid the possibility of hitting the car in front of me. - My speed is only about 10mph when I'm merged since I was braking during this time. - Every lane is not moving or hardly moving due to traffic at this point. - A good 5 seconds pass and I'm then hit from behind by someone in a truck going about 60mph, although I heard a screeching of brakes right before they hit me so by that time it was probably like 50mph. - My car is totaled and when I get out and walk over (fortunately I came out fairly unscathed) to the person behind me I see they have a buddy in the passenger seat and music playing pretty loud.
Their insurance: - I got off the phone with their insurance and they told me they were able to get ahold of the guy and then asked me (with some incredulity) "They rear-ended you???" and I was like "yes...." - They then told me that the guy that rear-ended me told them that I had merged into him.
- Since our accounts of the event differ, they are now getting a specialist to handle the claim.
I'm a bit worried now since I technically did merge into the lane, but does it really count as "merging into him" if it was a whole 5+ seconds between the time I was full merged and he collided into my car (at 50+mph no less)?
I think the dude was chatting it up with his buddy and / or distracted by the loud music they were blasting to take advantage of the ample slowing time I thought I had given him.
The police did arrive on the scene and I told them basically what I wrote here. Although I was feeling a bit altruistic and made a stupid offhand comment like "I don't know if the other guy could have stopped."
There wasn't any people who acted as witnesses, nor any dashcams involved (although I'd welcome them if there were) as far as I know, so I don't know what I can do to avoid getting the situation flipped on my. Aside from the fact that the back half of my car is crumple like a tin can and the other guy's front is damaged.
Thoughts are welcome

2022.01.17 22:03 v4ntab1ack 1 More Minute
It was the year 1935 when the Carringtons came to Adams, Tennessee. This family was small with only a father, John, and two children, James and Linda. Linda was a quiet girl at 14, she read her books and kept mostly to herself, while James was the definition of mischief. He was always lazy and just overall sloppy, just as you would expect for a boy at 15. The father however was a stern businessman and is almost always seen with a briefcase.
Everywhere they went people had an odd feeling about the Carringtons. It's not that they seemed odd, it's just that everything in their house was a bit too neat. Nothing looked out of place, not even in the children's rooms. Their lawn was always mowed, their beds always made, and their shoes always clean and shiny. However, what caught most people's eye was the fact that the children's mother seemed to never exist. There were no pictures, no clothes or jewelry, and for whatever reason, there was no headstone either. It was almost as if the mother just vanished one day.
It was the start of a new life. A start of a new school, new friends, new teachers, and to James all-new ways to get into detention. The morning of the first day at their new school was just like any other morning. Nothing out of the usual, nothing amiss while they walked to school. Nothing really out of the normal happened until lunch. Linda had decided that she wanted to eat lunch outside instead of the noisy cafeteria. While she was sitting outside a girl walked up to her.
"Hello, I'm Marlene."
According to Linda, Marlene Fisher was a nice girl, outgoing, pretty, and very smart. But she was also very adventurous. Linda found this out, the hard way. "Come on Linda, it'll be fun!" Marlene said excitedly. "I'm not sure, it doesn't seem like a good idea." Linda looked at Marlene nervously. Linda was not the kind of girl to go exploring caves, especially in a place she was unfamiliar with. "Oh come on, stop being boring, nothing will go wrong. I've been down there hundreds of times." Marlene, now slightly annoyed at the girl, skipped ahead so that she could face the girl. "What could go wrong!?” “Are you mental, it's a cave called 'The Bell Witch Cave'? Did you forget the 'Witch' part in the name?" Marlene scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Fine, fine..." she sighed in defeat.
The topic of the cave never came up again. That is until a few months later at the kitchen table. Linda's father was reading the newspaper, with his coffee in one hand and a cigar in another. James was trying to finish his homework at, last minute. While Linda was quiet as ever and had her nose in a book. Their father cleared his throat, gaining the attention of his children. "Did you hear about the murder last month?" Not waiting for an answer he continued, "They just found her sister, it is said that she was found in that cave..." he trailed off snapping his finger trying to find the name. "The 'Bell Witch Cave'." Linda offered quietly. He focused his eyes on her and raised an eyebrow. "Yes, and how would you know that? You haven't been down there have you?" Linda shook her head vigorously. "No of course not, I heard some girls talking about it at school." Linda lied. Her father seemed to believe her, fortunately for her. He didn’t say anything and went back to reading the paper. The recent murder seemed to make up Linda's mind about the cave.
"Oh come on, stop being dull, it's just a silly cave! So what if a girl's died there, that's what makes it much more interesting." Marlene again begged Linda to join her in the cave, and once again Linda declined. "I'm warning you Marlene it's not safe don't go there!" Marlene rolled her eyes and once again stalked off.
"She's going to be killed one day, with that attitude," Linda mutters to herself before rushing back home.
Marlene walked up to Linda the very next day and told her she was going to the cave whether Linda came or not. Linda tried to protest again but in the end, gave up. She told Marlene she couldn't come if she wanted to either way. Her father needed her help for work.
At the end of the day Linda walked briskly out of the school, rushing to the exit gate she saw James waiting for her. As soon as James saw his sister he pulled her by the arm and ran back home, dragging his sister behind him. When their house came into view he slowed down, letting go of his sister's arm they entered the house.
They entered their house and saw their father sitting down at the table, they both joined him. "So how was school?" James told their father about the prank they pulled on Mathew Gardner. A 14-year-old boy Linda had only seen once. At last, it was Linda's turn, she told her father about her pretty boring day, but left out the part about Marlene. He asked them both to go get dressed, they would be leaving for his work soon.
Linda's father was a businessman, so it wasn't out of the ordinary that he stayed late at the office. However this time he seemed to be staying exceptionally later than normal. Linda never knew meetings could take so long. While James was busy trying to hear what the meeting was about, Linda was thinking about Marlene, who would by now be getting ready to go to the cave.
By the time the meeting was over it was around 9 p.m. Their father rushed the children back into the car. He drove the familiar way to his office, well his new office. The children got out of the car and started heading down the hill, their father following them with his briefcase. As they got there Linda saw an all too familiar face. "Linda! Thank god you found me, I got lost and I couldn't find my way..." she trailed off and shuddered, the feeling of panic easing out of her body. "I'm so sorry Marlene, so sorry, so sorry sorry sorry..." Linda trailed off, looked at her father, and gulped. Linda sighed then continued. "I told you, didn't I? I warned you not to come here, but you didn't listen. You came here anyway." Linda sighed and looked down, pity flashing through her eyes. "Wha-what are you talking about Linda?" Linda ignored her and turned to her father and brother, by now her brother was wearing rubber gloves and her father had opened his briefcase. Inside his briefcase showed a supply of tape, rope, and knives all lined up in an orderly fashion. Linda then looked back at Marlene. "You were getting too curious for your own good..."
The Carrington family all sat around the table eating their breakfast, Linda's father was looking at the newspaper, while James and Linda were eating quietly, per usual Linda's nose stuck in a book. "Well, I think it's time to move again." Their father stated, with a sigh. "Why dad?" James looked up to his father, confusion written on his face. "Because my dear son and daughter they just found another murder in the Bell Cave." "Who was it, dad?" Linda asked quietly as ever while putting her plate in the sink. He looked up with a subtle smirk. Almost invisible.
"Unfortunately Ms. Marlene Fisher..."

2022.01.17 22:03 Saanspoof Rules-based Challenge Mode
Hey all! I've been a long time superficial fan of the Far Cry games, in that I enjoy them for a bit but never get real into them and never actually finish them. Five is the one I had come close to loving, but I did still fall off. However, after playing 6 for a while and falling off, I've come back to 5 and when I was starting out I workshopped a challenge mode, which I feel totally transformed my experience and I'm having the time of my life as a result.
The rules: 1: Hard mode 2: No fast travel under any circumstances. 3: No compass/on screen markers/objectives other than health, ammo etc. 4: Most importantly. Only open the map to decide where you'll head next and mentally chart a course. From then on you need to navigate using landmarks and the sun. Five is the right size in that you can learn the landscape well enough that you don't need the map. (I tried to find a mod to remove the player marker from the map, but couldn't, so this was my backup idea) 5: Vehicles destroyed are considered lost and cannot be spawned again. Need to purchase a new one. This makes planes/helicopters extremely valuable and requiring careful precision, where as with cars you can always just grab one from the street. 6: No prestige/free items from dlc. Cosmetics are fine. (Prestige items break the progression) 7: Partners KO'd and not revived are lost until you finish a zone story. After zone 2 they are lost. 8: If you die when doing an objective, such as an outpost, you must take a different approach next time. 9: One zone at a time.
Most of these rules come from criticisms I had about the series for my own enjoyment. Obviously this is just meant to be a fun thing, so the rules aren't rigid if things like bugs or bullshit happen. Curious what kind of rules you guys have when playing to enhance your enjoyment, or ideas you think would be a good addition to this list.
Honestly, it's just made it into a totally new game for me.

I put off watching the arc because i was told it's a bit underwhelming considering there's nothing in the anime that comes after. But now that the anime is returning, would it be a good idea to watch the fullbringer arc? If i skip it will I be missing out on key things once the anima returns?

2022.01.17 22:03 garden_anomaly Want to renew the lease in my rental house….just not with my roommates
Long story short, my roommates suck. They are messy and inconsiderate. They leave dishes in the sink days on end, never clean up in the common areas, and always have their significant others over that only make messes and eat our food.
We are in the second year of our lease (resigned with them again in august because it would’ve been a hassle to leave). I was the one that found us the rental, signed us up for the tour, etc. the house is mostly furnished because of me (I own the living room furniture, most of the kitchen furniture and appliances, the patio furniture, etc). The electric and wifi are in my name.
Is it rude to tell my roommates that I want to renew the lease to stay in the home but want them to move out?
